National Second Winner in the MACtac awards 2008
Kokoon were named National Second Winner (UK & Ireland) in the MACtac Worldwide Awards 2008. The entry was for decorating studio offices with visuals which appear to be suspended in mid-air for real feeling of space.
The MACtac Worldwide awards were created to display high impact “visual communication” works produced using MACtac self adhesive materials. MACtac are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of self adhesive materials for decorative and promotional purposes.
An international panel of judges looked at works from over 7000 entrants worldwide. Kokoon were regional winners for United Kingdom and Ireland. In fact this was Kokoon’s second award in the bi-annual MACtac awards. They were commended in the 2006 awards for a project consisting of printed hoarding graphics.
Kokoon’s Richard Grant said, “This is a great example of a typical one-off project we might do. Taking a brief from an agency, working out the best materials and techniques to use for production, then following on with the site installation”.
Kokoon’s graphics work is varied because of their breadth of knowledge and expertise. Their roll fed large format digital printers and UV flatbed printer means they can undertake work across exhibition, live event, retail and signage sectors.
Current work included examples such as display graphics for a major European product launch, a national roll-out of showroom graphics, internal and external signage for a new leisure centre and bespoke exhibition graphics for a clothing retailer.
